Service Description:
The Policy and Governance Service is responsible for providing corporate policy and research expertise to Councillors, Officers and Partners to support the challenges facing the Council. The service also supports the democratic and accountable decision making processes of the council, the arrangements for elections, and support to elected councillors. This is a new service and a cohesive structure is being developed. Current functions are:
