Overview and Scrutiny

Over recent years, Overview and Scrutiny has developed to be a key part of Kirklees Council's decision making process.  The Overview and Scrutiny structure and processes are set out in the Council's Constitution and our Overview and Scrutiny Information and Guidance Pack (which is included in the Information and Guidance section below).  At present we have a co-ordinating Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee and 6 Overview and Scrutiny Panels.  Additional Ad Hoc Scrutiny Panels are set up to carry out reviews into specific areas of concern.

You can contribute to Overview and Scrutiny in a number of ways (see Get Involved and Raise an issue below), or view the Panels below to find out what is happening in the Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee or each Panel.
