The Brontë Trail

On to Red House Museum alias 'Briarmains' the fictional mansion of her novel, Shirley and home of Mary Taylor Charlotte's life long friend. The enchanting period gardens of lawns and roses provoke curiosity as to what the two young women would chat about on Charlotte's visits. The windows described by Charlotte are still to be seen today.
