Kirklees is a fascinating place for any visitor not least for the tremendous extremes of it's landmarks. Starting with Standedge Tunnel - the country's highest, longest, and deepest canal tunnel and finishing with Emley Moor TV Mast, the tallest self-supporting television mast in Britain there's a host of striking landmarks - town halls, dark satanic mills, clock towers, inspiring churches - Kirklees has got the lot!
