Calder and Hebble Navigation


The Calder and Hebble navigation runs for around 21 miles between Wakefield and Sowerby Bridge and links the area's canals to the rest of the region's canal network.

The Calder and Hebble winds through Dewsbury at Saville Town Basin and Mirfield at Shepley Bridge Marina, to Cooper Bridge in Huddersfield. Here you can branch off to the Huddersfield Broad Canal or continue on to Brighouse.
