Results of the KBUG Survey

Chris Wilby - May 2004
chris.wilby@kirklees.gov.uk

Background
Kirklees Bicycle Users group wanted to understand the needs of its members.

The offer of a safety pack was sent out around bike week 2003, and finished October 2003. On request of the safety pack of equipment we issued the questionnaire which also asked which items were required.

To advertise the offer:
  • An advert was printed on all employees payslips.
  • Emails were sent to all and an advert was distributed through the EMAS network.
There were 64 questionnaires returned and membership has increased from around 50 to 150.
