Stop S.M.I.D.S.Y. Stop SMIDSY will address how the police, the prosecutors, the courts, and the law itself could all do a better job at encouraging people to use the roads in safer and more considerate ways.
My name is Gill greaves and I am a Community Planning Officer for Kirklees
Council. I am based at the Deighton Centre and commute from Brockholes most
days. In this day and age of climate change, recession and innovation and
efficiency, cycling is a tool to your bit for the planet, keeping fit both
mentally and physically and saving money to boot!
I am 51 years old and I
am no super athlete. I competed in the Manchester to Blackpool cycle race
with my daughter in 2008 and I have signed up for my first triathlon in
June as a challenge and to raise money for cancer research. Cycling has
many benefits, try it? If you need encouragement contact me on
