About us

KBUG (Kirklees Bicycle Users Group) is a Kirklees Council Employee Network which is open to all cyclists, even if you do not live or work in Kirklees. It is free to join, and was formed to facilitate and encourage people to travel by bicycle, especially for commuting.

We provide information about local cycling events, campaign for highway improvements for cyclists in Kirklees and provide help and support for members, e.g. route planning advice and buddying on new journeys. We arrange cycle training and bike maintenance sessions.
