Who can give advice on an approved route for a heavy or wide load?
Notifications of abnormal loads in the Kirklees Council area are handled by
Leeds City Council, Abnormal Loads Officer.
Is police approval needed?
Not always, if you require further advice or information please complete

Are there any weight and width limits?
Most loads can be catered for although sometimes street lights or sign poles
may have to be removed temporarily. If you require further advice or information

Yes, abnormal load movements are co-ordinated in West Yorkshire by HETS
