About the hall

Built in 1892, the Town Hall is ideally situated in the centre of Cleckheaton and is a focal point for all of the community.

Cleckheaton Town Hall has a 500 seat theatre with a fantastic reputation for hosting local amateur dramatic, dance and drama productions.

To complement the theatre there are a range of function and meeting rooms, which are suitable for meetings and community groups.

Did you know that the famous Cleckheaton Folk Festival attracts thousands of visitors from across the UK to the Town Hall every year with its lively and vibrant music.

Access

Everyone is welcome to Cleckheaton Town Hall and we will do whatever we can to ensure you have an enjoyable visit. Staff are available to help, so please ask us if you need any assistance.

Parking and dropping off

There are a limited number of parking spaces for blue badge holders next to the Town Hall in St John's car park. There are also two car park spaces directly in front of the building.

Lift access

The Lift accesses the concert hall, bars and meeting rooms on the 1st and 2nd Floor. Please note that there are steps to all rows of seating on the balcony.

Wheelchair users

The Town Halls is accessible to Wheelchair users and dedicated seating is available in the stalls.

An induction loop and dedicated toilet facilities for those with disabilities are also available within Cleckheaton Town Hall. We also welcome guide dogs, please ask if you need help with your seat.
