Sports, arts and crafts, activity schemes and fun sessions are just some of the fantastic activities on offer for children and young people during summer holidays from 21 July - 31 August.

If you're aged 5 to 15 years you'll find plenty to do across Kirklees provided by Kirklees Council, Kirklees Active Leisure and many sports clubs. Details of all the activities are listed here or if you want a copy of the Summer Buzz newspaper ring 01484 234006 or email culture.leisure@kirklees.gov.uk
Many of the activities need to be booked in advance and you will need to complete the registration form to secure your place. For other activities you may simply need to complete the registration form and take it with you.
So have a great summer and enjoy taking part in some of these activities.

This summer Kirklees Libraries are full of exciting activities as they join in with the Olympic theme. You'll find craft activities and even sports sessions in libraries along with animals too!

Visit your local museum for a fun day out this summer. There are plenty of chances to have a go at quizzes, trails and various activities or have a look at the great exhibitions held in these fabulous buildings.

Visit your local park, play area or recreation area for a fun day out. They are great places to play or be sporty. Across Kirklees there are skate parks and multi-use games areas to use as well as a whole programme of events.

Summer Buzz Sports Centres Schemes

Kirklees Active Leisure are running various fun activity schemes this summer with lots of different things to do from arts and crafts to sports sessions. Contact your local sports centre to book your place as all schemes must be pre-booked.

Summer Buzz Sports Coaching

Try out new sports, develop your sporting skills and improve your game in our programme of sports coaching courses. Or if you are into lots of different sports join in our multi-sports sessions and have a go at a range of activities.
