social bookmarks example

These sites - known as social bookmarking sites - allow you to save links to your favourite web pages onto a web site. This is similar to saving links in your browser's 'favorites' (Internet Explorer) or 'bookmarks' (Firefox). Social bookmarking provides several extra benefits:

  • Your links can be accessed from any computer.
  • You can tag your links with keywords that mean something to you.
  • You can categorise your links.
  • You can share your links with other people.

You will find links to popular social bookmarking sites at the foot of each page of this web site.
