Adult Social Care Survey 2019

What we're doing

The Adult Social Care Survey is a national survey which asks people receiving adult social care services questions about quality of life and what impact care and support services have on their quality of life. We ask people in Kirklees about their experiences and look at how services are helping people to live safely and independently in their own homes. 2018-19 is the ninth year the survey has taken place.

More information on what we're doing

Local authorities in England with responsibility for providing adult social care services are required to conduct an annual postal survey of people receiving long term social care. The Adult Social Care Survey asks questions about quality of life and the impact of social services. It also collects information about self-reported general health and well-being.

Data collected through the survey will be sent to NHS Digital and will be used as the basis of analyses included in national outcomes framework.
