Healthwatch - Tell us about your experience of using Adult Social Care Services

What we're doing

Healthwatch Kiirklees and Healthwatch Calderdale are focussing on Adult Social Care services for the whole of 2019. Our engagement projects will be: A 6 month 'tracking' project, where we will regularly contact people to help us to build a detailed picture of what it's really like to use Adult Social Care. A project which is designed to gather feedback from people who use Adult Social Care following a period of ill health (eg when discharged from hospital).

More information on what we're doing

We would like to contact people who want to be involved in our 6 month 'tracking' project from Feb 2019 - July 2019. This will involve regular contact (every couple of weeks or monthly), by phone, email or face-to-face with someone from the Healthwatch team who will ask about your experience of using adults social care. We want to know what's working well, what could be improved and whether people have noticed any changes to the support they receive.

We also want to hear from people who have used Adult Social Care following a period of ill health, for example if someone has been in hospital and had to have a social care package put in place before they could be discharged.
