Main Show 2012: Walk to the Stars by Sky
In December 2012, Huddersfield had its first ever chance to see the rooftops of St George's Square become the stage of professional high wire artists Jade Kindar-Martin and Didier Pasquette.
Combining breathtaking feats of physical power and mental strength Jade and Didier performed Walk to the Stars over 25m above the audience above the audience, without harnesses or safety nets on a wire less than 2cm thick.
Together, Jade and Didier have performed throughout Asia and Europe, setting a Guinness World Record for their skywalk across the Thames in London. Jade, who spent 4 years performing with Cirque du Soleil, taught Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton to perform a high wire walk across London's Battersea Power Station.
The show will lasted approximately 25 minutes.
