Over for another year...

Well over 50,000 people flocked to Huddersfield between 7th and 9th December to enjoy Festival of Light 2012, making the most of all the free street theatre, live music and entertainment across town. From high wire walkers to fire installations, an open air disco to a 3m tall walking puppet - we aimed to amaze, delight and inspire you - and it seems we succeeded!

Kirklees Local TV were there to capture Festival of Light 2012.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to the festival, many of whom brought friends and family from out of town to show off Huddersfield at it's very best! Thanks also to our 2012 partners Northern Rail and to all of our volunteers.

Absolutely fantastic!

This is the first year we have been to the festival and cannot believe we have never been before, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back for the whole weekend next year.

Well worth the journey!

Me and my children loved everything. I have already told my family back in The Netherlands about the Festival of Light and they are very keen to visit next year!
