Venue access

All key services are accessible.
Wheelchair access
Either, there are specially marked parking spaces for disabled people, or disabled people can park within 50 metres of an accessible entrance.
Disabled parking
There is a toilet which can be accessed by people with disabilities including wheelchair users. This means that it complies with the standards set out in Part M of the Building Regulations,'Access to and use of buildings.
Fully accessible toilet
Disabled parking is available in the public car park at the back of the building against the Library wall.

Photocopying and Fax service. Public Internet Access and IT facilities. Selection of Newspapers.

Special Loan Collections:
Local and Family History collection (Books, Microfiche, Ancestry Website). Teenage Collection. Graphic and Manga collections, Special Needs collection, Parenting collection.
Audio visual loan service:
Adult and Children's DVDs, Audio books on CD and MP3. Foreign language courses.

Items for sale:
Wallcharts. Workbooks and book tokens.

Regular activities:

Story and Rhyme time, term time only - Mondays 2.30pm and Fridays 10.30am.

Readers groups - alternate Thursdays 2pm to 3pm and every Wednesday evening. Please contact us for dates and times.

Writers group - every Monday 6pm to 7.30pm.

Family History sessions - Second Tuesday of each month, 2pm to 4pm. (drop-in).

Basic Computer Training (BITs) - Thursday mornings and afternoons (one on one training by appointment only).

Coffee Mornings - every Friday 10.30am to 12.00pm.

The U3A (University of the 3rd Age) holds regular 10 week courses 'Beginner's Guide to Personal Computers' for those over 50 or registered disabled. Please contact us for dates and more details.
