Farmers Markets
Take a trip to one of Kirklees Farmers' Markets in either Holmfirth or Cleckheaton and you can buy fresh, nutritious, good quality food direct from the person who produces it. At the two Kirklees farmers markets there are plenty of delicacies to stock the best-kept kitchens. A variety of meats, fresh vegetables, home-baked cakes and pies and a vast range of cheese are just some of the local produce available.


Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival
This two day festival offers food lovers the very best of local, regional and international food and drink. Market stalls spill onto the streets bustling with mouth-watering produce, street entertainers mingle in the crowds creating delight, food tasting, displays, samples can be found around every corner. In the Market Hall, cookery demonstrations take place throughout the day and in the centre of the town, the open-air German bar offers a welcome respite with superb music, table magic and more.


UpMarket Sundays
Browse antiques, collectibles, and arts and crafts; try contemporary and vintage fashions for size; then sample Yorkshire food and drink and treat yourself to some delicious street food. With live music and quirky street entertainment, an UPMARKET Sunday visit to Huddersfield is the perfect way to round off a relaxing weekend. Drop by the Huddersfield Open Market in Brook Street on the second Sunday of each month between 10am and 4pm.
