Nordic Walking

Details of Nordic Walks, suitable for walkers of all ages, led by a walk leader who provides instruction on correct technique and all the necessary equipment.
Nordic or pole walking is relatively new and is fun and sociable.

It requires higher levels of fitness and co-ordination than 'Health Walks' yet provides an 'all round' excercise by using over 90% of the body's muscles.

Nordic Walking retains all the benefits of 'Health Walks' offering upper body exercise and reducing the stress on knees and other joints.
