Have a swim in one of the new public swim programmes which are open to everyone but FREE for under 16s and over 60s. Swim4free starts in April.
It's easy to join in the free public swim sessions- simply sign up for a "more" card at your local pool for a one-off nominal fee of just £2.00 and you can swim as many times as you like. Look out for additional FREE sessions at holidays times too.

Kirklees Council has teamed up with Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) to offer over 200 hours of free public swim sessions each week at KAL's nine pools in Kirklees.

There are also free swimming lessons available to people over 60 or young people aged 11-17years who cannot swim. See below for details
