Sports, arts and crafts, activity schemes and fun sessions are just some of the fantastic activities on offer for children and young people during the summer holidays.

If you're aged 5 to 15 years you'll find plenty to do across Kirklees provided by Kirklees Council and Kirklees Active Leisure. Details of all the activities are listed here or if you want a copy of Buzz ring 01484 234000 or email culture.leisure@kirklees.gov.uk
Many of the activities need to be booked in advance and you will need to complete the registration form to secure your place. For other activities you may simply need to complete the registration form and take it with you.
So have a great holiday and enjoy taking part in some of these activities.

Buzz - SPLASH
Don't get bored! There's loads of opportunities to take part in many activities from circus skills to cricket, arts and crafts to adventurous activities. Most of these activities are free but for some there is a small cost.

Buzz Activity Schemes
Kirklees Young People's Service are again running a large number of activity programmes across all of Kirklees for young people aged from 8 to 19 years old. Young people won't be bored this holiday.

Buzz Dance, Activity and Drama
Come along and join us for a fantastic programme of different dance styles, activities and drama - perfect for budding performers and great fun even if you've never tried anything like this before!

Buzz in Libraries
Kirklees Libraries are full of exciting things to do. You'll find craft, sport, reading, games and other exciting and interesting activities in libraries, as well sa a few surprises!

Buzz in Museums and Galleries
Visit your local museum or art gallery for a fun day out. There are plenty of chances to have a go at quizzes, trails and various activities or have a look at the great exhibitions held in these fabulous buildings.

Buzz in Parks
Visit your local park, play area or recreation area for a fun day out. They are great places to play or be sporty. Across Kirklees there are skate parks and multi-use games areas to use as well as a whole programme of events.

Buzz Sports Centres Schemes
Kirklees Active Leisure are running various fun activity schemes with lots of different things to do from arts and crafts to sports sessions. Contact your local sports centre to book your place as all schemes must be pre-booked.

Buzz Sports Coaching
Try out new sports, develop your sporting skills and improve your game in our programme of sports coaching courses. Or if you are into lots of different sports join in our multi-sports sessions and have a go at a range of activities.

Buzz Swimming
Dip your toe in the water and try out some of the wild and wacky water-based activities at your local pool.
