'build', which stands for "building unity in local development", is a local purchasing and local labour initiative for the construction industry in Kirklees.

It is part of Kirklees Council's Economic Development Service and seeks to ensure that local residents and local construction businesses benefit fully from construction development projects in the district.

'build' provides advice, training and job search for individuals wanting a career in construction and help and advice to construction businesses.
