About the young people's holiday activity programme

The young people's holiday activity programme is a programme of fun informal activities for 8-19 year olds in Kirklees, and up to 25 years old for disabled young people. These are run in the school holidays by Young People's Service in partnership with the Voluntary and Community Sector. Activities range from Arts and Crafts, Environmental Projects, Sport and Recreation and Community Cohesion Projects.

How is the programme funded?

The programme is managed by Kirklees Council's Integrated Youth Support Service. The programme covers both end of term and half term holidays for all young people in Kirklees. Applicants can apply for the full cost of delivering activities.

Application dates and documents 2011-2012

Easter and Spring Bank holidays 2012
The current round of funding for Easter and Spring Bank holidays 2012 is open, the deadline for applications is 19 December 2011, 12.00pm. Alternatively application forms are available by sending an email to yps.projects@kirklees.gov.uk with the word 'Pack' in the subject or by calling the number below to request a paper copy.
