Involving Young Citizens Equally (IYCE)

MAC logo The Make A Change (MAC) Grants fund activities of up to £1000 for children and young people aged 8-19 in Kirklees. Projects must be new and benefit more children and young people than just those involved in applying for a grant.

YOF logo The Youth Opportunity/Capital Fund (YOF/YCF) is Government money which funds activities for groups of young people aged 13-19. There is approximately £200,000 available annually in the revenue fund, and £200,000 available from the capital fund for Kirklees. Projects must be new and have some sort of positive long term benefit to the young people involved.

For both grants schemes, children and young people make decisions about what is funded. Applications must be made by children and young people who must lead and organise their own projects (adults can help)

More information and application packs for both funds can be obtained by emailing IYCE@Kirklees.gov.uk or by phoning 01484 223603
