Grants for Children and Young People

 Two grants schemes—Kids Count and
Make a Change—offer children and young people up to £1,000 to develop and carry out
their own projects. All decisions about
awarding the grants are made by groups of
children and young people.
 In the last few months, groups of children and young people have successfully applied for funding for lots of projects including buying equipment for an allotment, making a disability awareness video and an inter-generational local history project.
