Victim Support's work in schools is continually raising awareness about bullying and the support that we can offer to young victims.

A lot of people think bullying is 'part of school life' and it 'happens in every school', but that doesn't mean that we should accept it.

Bullying is often portrayed as physical abuse, punching and kicking, but can be verbal abuse such as name-calling and using threatening language is just as common. Sometimes the verbal bullying can be even more hurtful and isolating.

If you are worried about this or any other crime please contact Victim Support Kirklees confidentially on 01484 511112.
