Instructions:
Information by area committee, e.g. population estimates, recorded crime, employment and unemployment, welfare benefits, house prices, household income, pupil attainment, 2011 Census (tenure, no car households, house type, ethnicity, religion) and other information. Area committees are local committees of Kirklees Council. All ward councillors are members of their area committee. The committees encourage public services such as the police, health and council services to come together to agree how to solve local problems together. They meet regularly and the meetings are open to the public.

Choose an area committee on the map or select an area from the adjacent list to display the area committee profile.

More profiles, tables and maps are available covering topics such as crime, housing, pupil attainment etc.
