Census 2001 information by town and valley committee. Town and valley committees are operational areas used by, for example, West Yorkshire Police, Primary Care Trusts, and Kirklees Children & Young People Service. Topics covered include population, ethnic group, religion, limiting long-term illness, health, economic activity and unemployment, employment by industry and occupation, National Statistics Socio-economic Classification, qualifications, household tenure, car ownership and type of accommodation. Comparative figures for Kirklees and England and Wales are also shown.
