The Index of Deprivation 2010 (ID 2010) is the latest revision to the English Indices of Deprivation produced by the Department for Communities and Local Government, (DCLG). This index was first released by the Office for the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) in May 2004 (now Department for Communities and Local Government, (DCLG), and later re-released to correct errors in June 2004. It was updated in 2007 and the Index currently uses 38 indicators which are grouped into seven domains.
