Standard tables

Standard tables are Census 2001 cross-tabulations covering all major census topics. The full range of tables contain 25,000 different numbers or 'counts' and are only available at electoral ward level and above, though ward tables have yet to be released by the Office of National Statistics.

Please note: These documents contain many tables of statistics and consequently have large file sizes, which may take some time to download using a standard modem.

Two versions of each document are available. The versions that are fully compatible with current accessibility features in Acrobat Reader are listed first. Smaller file versions are also available.
