What is anti social behaviour?
The definition of anti-social behaviour used by the Kirklees Partnership.
Different types of Anti-Social Behaviour
Assault, littering, noise nuisance and high hedges. There are a number of statutory services who provide support to tackle these behaviours.
Legislative Orders - and what it means
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 introduced the Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) and since then there have been numerous legislative orders to support Partnerships in tackling specific areas of anti-social behaviour.

“Tools and Powers” in Kirklees
The Partnership submit quarterly returns to the Home Office and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) about the take up of ASB tools and powers in Kirklees which we can produce down to a locality level.
Challenge and Support Project In 2008 the Partnership were awarded "Challenge and Support" accreditation by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).

Partnership Information Pack (PDF)
The Partnership has developed an information pack which will allow residents to decide what they can do and which services they need to contact in regard to the specific issues that they bare experiencing.
Partnership Diary Recording Log Sheets (PDF)
Residents can assist the partnership by recording the issues that are affecting them in a manner that will allow the partnership to use the information in an early intervention and court setting.
Referral Form (PDF)
Referrals for intervention using anti-social behaviour legislation are generally received by partners and sometimes through Neighbourhood Management Groups. However there is no reason why a referral could not come via a local neighbourhood “Partners and Communities Together” (PACT) meeting or an individual resident providing all appropriate information is included with the referral form.
