Building health opportunities for the
communities of Kirklees.
Altogether Better is part of a five year project aimed at helping people and communities across the Yorkshire and Humber region to eat better, be more physically active, and improve their mental well-being.
The Kirklees project will recruit, support and train individuals (Community Health Champions) who will develop new healthy living opportunities for vulnerable adults across Kirklees.
Community Health Champions are people who are involved in the Altogether Better project that pass on their skills and knowledge, in a health related activity, to vulnerable adults across Kirklees through Community Groups or organisations
The benefits of becoming a Community Health Champion are:
receive practical support
access free training courses
