It is to help community and voluntary groups set up arts and cultural projects and events by contributing
towards the costs. Projects must be wholly or mainly for the benefit of Kirklees residents and involve Kirklees
residents.
Application dates and documents
2009/2010
Round 1 - Deadline for receipt of applications is 30 April 2009 (for projects taking place after 1 August 2009)
Round 2 - Deadline for receipt of applications is 31 August 2009 (for projects taking place after 1 December 2009)
Round 3 - Deadline for receipt of applications is 31 December 2009 (for projects taking place after 1 April 2010)
Over £25,000 was awarded to 15 local arts organisations in the last round of awards from Kirklees Cultural & Leisure Services in their Arts in the Neighbourhood scheme 2008/2009.
