Queensgate Market Hall

Fruit and vegetable stall at one of the Kirklees markets
Queensgate Market is home to over one hundred shops who welcome shoppers six days a week.

From Monday to Saturday, this indoor market offers a vast range of goods and services. Spend just a few hours in Queensgate and you can leave with a new haircut, nail extensions, a fabulous outfit for the weekend, probably with matching mobile phone cover and of course the family groceries. For the more practical, you can have keys cut, shoes re-soled, buttons sewn on jackets and your vacuum cleaner serviced, whilst you relax over a coffee or enjoy a light lunch at one of the nine cafes and take-aways.

The choice of food available is mouth-watering, fresh meats, fruit and vegetables, cheese, biscuits and for the more adventurous olives, caviar and freshly ground coffees.

Comfortable shopping, with wide aisles, clean and pleasant surroundings and is served by well-maintained public facilities. The Market Hall is located in the town centre with easy adjacent parking in the Market Hall mulit-storey car park signed from the ring-road.

Open Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 5.30pm
Saturday from 8.30am until 5.30pm
