Table Tennis Centre
The Dewsbury Table Tennis Centre, located at Cemetery Road, Heckmondwike is fast becoming the favourite for many table tennis players from both inside and outside the North Kirklees boundary. Players from Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford and Huddersfield are involved in competitive table tennis alongside Dewsbury players.

Others are using the Centre for its practice facilities. Sunday and Friday evenings see a group of talented players meeting for a vigorous training session.

The Centre has a Pay and Play facility which is open for both members and non members alike.

Pay and Play is available at the following times:-

Monday evenings 8pm to 10.30pm

Tuesday - Friday 7.30am to 10.30pm

Pay and Play for non members is £4.00 per session. Basic members play for £2.50 per session.

Basic membership is £40.
Full membership is £200 per year and this allows you to play at no extra cost any time the Centre is available.

Members can purchase a key which enables them to Pay and Play at any time suitable to them.

Play can be arranged at any other time with a key-holding member, providing no event is scheduled at the centre.

Dewsbury Table Tennis League was founded in 1931.
In the late 1990s we obtained a lottery grant and built this table tennis centre.

It has enabled us to survive the loss of other table tennis venues, e.g. Youth Clubs and works canteens.
