Free course for people with long-term health conditions
|
The Expert Patient Programme is a free 7 week self management course for people living in Kirklees with long term health conditions. Courses take place across Kirklees - please contact us to book a place.
The course provides skills and techniques to:
• Improve how you feel
• Deal with anger, fear, frustration, isolation, fatigue and tiredness
• Deal with depression and anxiety
• Make informed choices
• Plan for the future
• Work with your health care professionals
• Develop confidence to take more control of your life
• Cope better with your situation
• Improve communication with family, friends and professionals
• Manage pain
