The Chestnut Centre, Deighton
Community resource centre with rooms to hire
The Chestnut Centre is a fantastic resource centre for the local community, supporting individuals, community groups and businesses through providing a whole range of services and advice and information.

The building has a number of rooms available for public hire at low cost. These are suitable for training events, committee meetings and interviewing. Please see website for more details.

The building houses the local library and information centre, and children's centre.

History
The construction of the Chestnut Centre was supported financially by the European Union. The project attracted £1.23 million investment from the European Regional Development Fund as part of Europe's support for the Objective 2 Yorkshire and Humber 2000-2006 programme'.The building opened in June 2005.
