Several of Kirklees libraries have an All Aboard collection in the children's library. The main collections are at Dewsbury Library (01924 325080) and Huddersfield Library (01484 221956 or 221959).
The All Aboard collection has books:-
- For all to enjoy: Lift the flap, Finger Fun, books to feel and smell.
- For all to share: Stories on tape, Clearvision books with pictures, Print and Braille.
- For all to read: Books with large print, Books in Braille.
- For me: Stories about disabled children, books and videos with British Sign Language, books and videos with Makaton.
- For all to use: Books that are easy to hold, books that are easy to use, audio-described videos, subtitled videos.
- For all to learn: Books about disability, help with homework, free computer access.
