Inter library loans

In addition to using its own extensive collections, Kirklees is able to borrow books and performance music for its customers from other Library Services within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland . As part of the national inter-library loan network we have access to the lending stocks of most public, university and major college libraries in these countries.
In addition, the British Library Document Supply Centre can provide copies of university theses, the more specialised academic titles not usually found in public libraries, and photocopies of serious periodical articles from Britain and abroad.
A small charge is made for this service and applications can be made through any Kirklees library.
