		British Standards Full text British Standards can be viewed online at all our Library and Information Centres. Small sections can be printed and taken away at Huddersfield Reference Library.

		XReferPlus An on-line reference tool which includes encyclopedias, dictionaries and books on a wide variety of topics.
		Oxford Reference Online (Premium Collection) Oxford's unparalleled collection of reference books covers the entire subject spectrum from accountancy to zoology.  Over two hundred titles are available.  As well as standard works of reference in the arts, humanities and sciences, many general interest titles area also included: dictionaries, including bi-lingual and visual dictionaries, encyclopedias, books of quotations, companions to food and drink, names and places and many more. 		Grove Music Online The most authoritative music reference source.  Contains the full text of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, The New Grove Dictionary of Opera, and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz.  Enhanced features unique to the online edition include regular updates and audio musical examples. 		Oxford Dictionary of National Biography An illustrated collection of 50,000 specially written biographies of the men and women who shaped all aspects of Britain's past, from the fourth century B.C. to the year 2000.  Compiled over a twelve year period by some 10,000 experts, who have produced a 60 volume, 60 million word reference work, and a website of over 100,000 pages. 		Grove Art Online Full access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art (1996, 34 vols.), plus extensive image links.  Grove Art Online is the most comprehensive and authoritative online resource for all research into the history of the visual arts. 		Kompass A database of 1.9 million companies in 75 different countries.  It can be used to find companies that provide specific goods or services, investigate trade names and it gives import information.  We have special access rights to more detailed information on European countries. The database is available at Batley, Cleckheaton, Dewsbury, Holmfirth, Huddersfield, Kirkburton and Mirfield libraries.

		FAME A database that covers all UK limited companies and provides detailed information such as accounts, names of directors, subsidiaries and trading addresses.  It can be used to produce tailored lists of companies by geographic location, type of business activity or by company size.
		Snapshots A database of top quality, up to date market reports covering a range of industries.
		Marketline A business information database specializing in industry analysis which gives access to market research reports, SWOT analyses, 50 country profiles, 10,000 company profiles, industry rankings, news, comment and analysis.
		UKop A comprehensive and up to date catalogue of UK official government publications since 1980.
		Cobra An online business reference tool which includes information for business start ups, market analyses, a legal library for business and a wealth of useful further contact organisations.
		Times Digital Archive Delivers every page of the Times newspaper, as published, from 1785 to 1985
