Newspapers and journals

There are a wide range of national and local newspapers available in libraries across Kirklees. We aim to provide newspapers that contain a representative selection of world, national and regional news, give a range of different political perspectives, provide job vacancy advertisements and appeal to a wide audience. A diverse range of journals and magazines is also available providing leisure, general interest, academic research, political opinion, cultural news, job opportunities and business information to our readers.

Huddersfield Reference Library has the largest collection of newspapers and journals and maintains a large archive of back copies, however all libraries have some titles available. If you would like to find out if we have a particular title then please contact us.
