Online reference sources that you can access at home
Library members now have free access to some of our most popular online information sources via this web site.
This exciting development means that as a library member you have access to a range of Dictionaries, Encyclopedias,
back and recent copies of Newspapers, and other information sources in your own home, place of work or study, at
any time you want, day or night.
To access this service all you will need is your current Borrower Number on your library card.
If you do not have a library card, please ask at your local library. If you are not a member already,
membership is free, open to all, and joining is easy.

At the login page you should enter "KIRKLEES" and your library card number.
Oxford Reference Online (Premium Collection)
Oxford's unparalleled collection of reference books covers the entire subject spectrum from accountancy to zoology.
Over two hundred titles are available. As well as standard works of reference in the arts, humanities and sciences,
many general interest titles area also included: dictionaries, including bi-lingual and visual dictionaries, encyclopedias,
books of quotations, companions to food and drink, names and places and many more. Search each title individually or
cross reference the entire online database.
