What is INtouch mobile? |
INtouch mobile is a way for people to get local information and use services through their mobile phone. Anyone who has a mobile phone that can connect to the Internet can use the INtouch mobile site.
- Text 'mobile' to 0780 000 2221 and we'll send you the link
- Or visit this address from your GPRS/WAP enabled mobile phone:
http://www.intouchkirklees.mobi/
As well as using INtouch to find information, residents can also add their own information, make comments and ask questions. This interactivity is an important part of INtouch. It allows residents to learn, question and be heard.

What can you find on the site?
|
INtouch mobile highlights the services and information that mobile users want the most. Users can search for jobs from Jobcentre Plus and Kirklees Council, find bus times using YourNextBus and use local services such as library book renewals and garden waste collections.
Mobile users also have access to the full INtouch kirklees site if they wish to use it. The site includes:
Advice and information
Advice and online services from many different organisations. Users can find out about a wide range of topics including crime and safety, employment, the environment, health, housing, learning, money and transport.
Services
Users can request waste collections, report graffiti and street problems, join a credit union and use many other services.
Have your say
Users can contact their councillor, see live local election results, take part in consultations and comment on council and other services.
My community
This section has been developed by members of local communities. Users can contribute their own information, including creative writing, book reviews, memories and personal stories, messages to a loved one and recipe ideas.
