Kirklees Council is twinned with 4 towns:
  • Besançon, France, since 1955
  • Kreis Unna, Germany, since 1967
  • Kostanai, Kazakhstan, since 1989
  • Bielsko-Biala, Poland, since 1992
In addition to these links, there also community links between:
  • Holme Valley and Imphy, France
  • Colne Valley and Overath, Germany
  • Stocksmoor Community and Olgiate Molgora, Italy

Benefits of Twinning/International Activities

Local Government:
