Dewsbury Museum, in Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury, is closed temporarily from Friday 1st May 2009, for the first phase in a programme of building works and gallery developments. The museum will reopen in the spring of 2010 with new visitor and education facilities, along with a passenger lift to enable visitors with mobility problems to access all the floors of the museum.
