Tania: Hello, my name is Tania.  This is my wheelchair Ebony. Ebony’s very fast.

My favourite music is Bangra.

I go to Jackson’s and I buy sweets. It’s really important that I do things for myself because it helps my mum.  The more I do for myself the more I feel better.

I like making decisions about my life. I feel unhappy when people boss me about. I’m in charge of my life. I don’t like it when people tell me what to do.

Ian [to Tania]: and why is that then?

Tania: Because they think that they’re in control.

Ian [to Tania]: And who is in control?

Tania: Me!
