Voice Over (Nicola) - This is Kelly. Kelly likes to go to her local spa pool every week with her community support workers, Debbie and Christine.
Kelly likes to be as independent as possible and is supported to show her member’s card and pay at reception.
Kelly uses the hoisting equipment that was fitted in 2004 at the Galpharm Stadium. This has meant that Kelly and lots of other people who need help to get in and out of the pool have been able to use the spa.
Kelly and her physiotherapist put together an exercise programme to help Kelly stay healthy. Kelly loves going to the spa pool and being able to move around freely in the water with Christine and Debbie’s support.
Doing the exercises helps Kelly to stay well and enjoy life.
Lying back on the Jacuzzi jets is one of Kelly’s favourite bits.
