Donna: My name is Donna and my job is a clerical assistant.

I have been working for Kirklees for 12 years. I usually come in for about 9 o’clock and usually finish at 12 o’clock. I do the registers everyday, ring round the bases everyday and do the registers everyday. I do some photocopying and stock control as well, yes I do. I get on well with staff and service users. Somebody came in the other week, a social worker came in last week and said I was the best receptionist he’d ever seen.

Doing my NVQ will make me feel proud and good for myself.

Ian is my favourite person and  manager because he has helped me to start my NVQ.

I like to spend my wages on clothing and holidays.

Yes, the job is really easy and you get nice comments and compliments every time.

It is a good thing to work and get on with people that like their jobs like I do. I like everything in my job. Yeah, I like this job, yes I do, it is the best job I’ve ever had.
