Many items of disability equipment are available free on long-term loan from Kirklees Adult Services to people who are eligible.

You can find out if you are eligible for an equipment loan by getting in touch with a Gateway to Care.

We can arrange to mail out the information you need. Or we can set up an appointment for you to call in at the Equipment Exhibition or your local Gateway to Care.

You are welcome to visit our equipment exhibition. We have a wide variety of household equipment and aids on display, including bath seats, walking aids, grab rails, stair lifts, cutlery and much more.

All equipment is displayed in every day room settings. You can try out equipment, or our staff will demonstrate it for you.

If you find something that would help you, you can buy it and take it, or we can order it for you.
