Kirklees Family Placement Unit recruits foster carers and adoptive carers for children with disabilities.
If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a foster carer for a child who may have physical or learning disabilities, a sensory impairment or a combination of special needs we would like to hear from you.
If you would like to become a foster carer for a child not known to you we can offer you:
Training
Support from a professional worker
An allowance for caring for the child
A skills payment for the time you devote to fostering.
