Drug and alcohol problems. The Base, CRI Kirklees Young Persons/Young Adults Service, provide support with drug and alcohol problems for young people/young adults.
Educational psychology - supporting children, young people and their families with special educational needs and the impact this can have on attainment, emotional well-being and inclusion in the learning environment.
Family Information Service - offers impartial information and guidance to families with children aged 0-19 on a range of subjects including finding and paying for childcare, family activities, holiday clubs and play schemes.

Independent Living Team: Direct payments
Involving Young Citizens Equally (IYCE) has many projects that children and young people can engage in. IYCE are developing ways in which children and young people can influence public services and the local democratic process.
Jubilee Sailing Trust (external site) - provides active young people aged 16 and over with adventure holidays on tall sailing ships.
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Kirklees Independent ME Support Group welcomes people who have been diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Post Viral Syndrome or Fibromyalgia and their carers.
The Nerve Centre in Huddersfield town centre supports people who have neurological conditions, their families carers and friends.

Parent Partnership Service - supports parents of children with special educational needs and supports and trains schools in their partnership with parents.
Portage - Support for pre-school children - a home-based teaching service for the families of pre-school children who show some delay in their development.
Portex - Support for 3 to 7 year olds - works with mainstream schools, teachers and parents to develop daily educational teaching programmes.
Young Batley runs youth clubs for disabled young people.
Young People's Service is one of the organisations responsible for youth and recreation programmes for young people aged 13 to 19 in Kirklees.
Youth Offending Team works with children and young people who have offended or are at risk of offending.
